2011 Report
Once again through the
generosity of time and the talents of Margaret Jumper, special day
celebration cards and greetings to the sick and shut-in were sent
throughout the year.
Members of the
congregation continued to bring and donate food to God’s Helping
Hands. Additionally Social Ministry delivered donated food for
God’s Helping Hands to their shut-in recipients.
Valentine Bags for
our shut-ins were prepared by Clara Gregory and Sally Hutto and
delivered by our committee members.
Through the work of
the Social Ministry committee news about Operation INASMUCH was
brought to the congregation and members were encouraged to
participate in this program. Many members of our community were
served by this participation.
As in years past
our shut-ins were provided gift baskets or poinsettias at Christmas.
