2011 Report
2011 began with a need for a new roof on the sanctuary at an estimated cost of $25,000. We put together a campaign to raise funds to help pay for the replacement and repairs out of immediate necessity. We raised more than $27,000 in just three months from a caring and giving congregation. We also reviewed our budget for the year when planning for 2012 and were able to make some major reductions in some areas, allowing other areas of need to be increased ultimately only raising our fiscal budget by less than $800. Other major repairs to the church including air conditioning replacements came from insurance and budget line amounts causing no need to ask for additional funds. This is to be accredited to past and current council members planning in advance. A big thank you to everyone for their dedication and continued support in our financial matters.
