Stewardship and Finance Committee

Duties for this committee are:
• Set up offering schedule for pick up next 12 months.
• Set up teller schedule for next 12 months.
• Pick up offering each Sunday and place in secured place.
• The treasurer makes payments of bills due each week including salaries.
• Plans and coordinates the stewardship program for the congregation each year.
• Proposes a budget for council to present to the congregation each year.
• Audit committee is appointed to review financial records and bank statements for all financial records yearly — church treasurer, WELCA treasurer, LMM treasurer.
• Review and maintain insurance policies for church — fire, liability, and contents.

• Count and balance all monies each week and deposit in bank.
• Distribute copies of weekly offering report to various individuals.
• Prepares the financial status report each month for Council and newsletter.
• Financial secretaries record weekly offerings and prepare and disseminate quarterly/annual statements to all members.
