2011 Report

The Worship and Music Committee continued its standard practice of planning, scheduling, and participating in weekly worship. We were delighted this year to hire Mrs. Meredith Jones as our handbell director! Her talents have made such a difference to our music program! We also continue to give thanks to our devoted choir members; special gratitude goes to Brent Holcomb as our organist/choir director. Choir and handbells both practice on Wednesday evenings.

Special music this year included the talents of members of our congregation, as well as community members. Our Christmas program, coordinated with Pastor Lance, featured the "new and improved" handbell choir.

Another project the Worship and Music Committee participated in was the mailing of our old green hymnals to Wisconsin for the mission churches in Liberia.

Advent	Christmas
Acolyte and Crucifer, Lay Readers, and Worship Assistants assist during the worship service. Altar Guild is the ministry of preparing and maintaining the vessels and vestments used at the altar. Flower Offerings Greeters Handbell Choir and Senior Choir provide music for our worship service. Servers for the month. Worship U gave members a chance to learn, re-learn or practice those worship roles that we have every week; Altar Guild, Ushers, Lectors.
